THE FUTURE OF C.H.A.I.N SWAKOPMUND
The committee of C.H.A.I.N Swakopmund aims to keep
its center up and running and to help as many children as possible.
The local community has been very supportive of our needs, but
unfortunately their support does not allow us to operate to our
full potential.
Once the handicapped child reaches a developmental
stage, which makes him/her fit to attend a kindergarten or school,
the aim for him/her is to achieve full integration into the mainstream
of life. Ultimately handicapped children should have the right
to be integrated into the educational system if possible and into
the community.
C.H.A.I.N is committed to help those who are least
able to help themselves. Our motto is to give “Hope to the
Handicapped Child” and our aim is to assist the child to
be prepared, not just for school, but also for life. Special children
also deserve the best.
The future of Namibia is in the hands of the children,
but the future of the children is in the hands of you and I.
